Good news and a gallon of bean dip

I used to dedicate every Monday to a "Weekend Recap" post. Partly because it was an easy way for me to photo dump and talk about all of my weekend shenanigans, and partly because Monday mornings were hell to me and sitting at an office desk at an ungodly hour was so depressing that blogging and reminiscing about my weekend was the only thing that would keep me going.

Anyway, today's post, though written from my bed while listening to the Prince Pandora station (thank you, New Girl for your latest episode), will be a compilation of this past weekend's happenings!

Friday afternoon I had my working interview at Heritage Row boutique! I was only supposed to be there for an hour, but almost two went by before we even noticed! I got to spend those two hours looking at all of the super cute clothes, chit-chatting with the customers, eating cupcakes, and hearing all of the outrageous customer stories that have taken place there. Let me just say, a lot of laughing was had.

I am happy to say that I was offered the job on the spot annndddd I accepted!

I'm super excited about this new adventure and embarking on my "I've-always-dreamed-about-having-a-boutique-one-day-so-it's-about-time-I-did-something-about-it-and-get-out-there-to-learn-more" journey! (I should probably work on that title.)

I have high hopes for this new partnership and I can't wait to see where it goes. With that said, I'd super-duper appreciate the support if you could "like" US (that's right, us!) on FB! ;) #shamelessplug

Anyway! On to the next topic (perhaps I should have ENDED with the exciting news because now anything else I say won't be as cool).

Sunday I woke up to pouring rain.
Sunday I had to run 5 miles.
Sunday I ate a gallon of bean dip, drank an entire bottle of wine, and had 4 pieces of pizza.

Something doesn't quite add up with that picture.

But hey, it was the Super Bowl and I guess that's what you're supposed to do.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, apparently it was the worst game in history? And I say apparently because I only semi paid attention. Every year I try to follow along, but I just....I just can't. #sorrynotsorry

But this guy agreed to a picture (which is rare these days), so that made me happy. Those dimples!

Alright. I don't have a strong ending, so I'm just going to slink out of here.

Happy Monday, ya'll. Hope your February is off to a good one!

xoxo

  18. It was one of the worst games because Peyton Manning missed the very first hike (flew way past his head), the Seahawks got control and it was just downhill from there. I don't think Peyton could recover from the embarrassment of that opening blunder. Oh? TMI? You were just making passing remarks and could care less about the details of the game? My bad. Love you!!!
