Christmas, Puzzles, and Unitards. The three best combinations.

We finally got rid of The Dizzle's 3-week old birthday balloon, a la helium style, and I think it's safe to say I was feeling the Christmas spirit after spending an hour wandering Target's holiday aisles last night. I've watched this video several times now, as it brings me great joy, and I couldn't help but say to The Dizz last night, "I can't possibly imagine why some people think we're younger than we are??" Because clearly, we always act with the utmost maturity. The utmost!

Speaking of Christmas decorations, I got some lights and sparkly balls last night! Do you know where said lights and balls are sitting right now? On our couch. Because we do not have a tree. Yet. All my life I have had a fake tree, always longing for a real one. So The Dizzle and I have decided that our holiday tradition will be to incorporate the REAL kahuna. Though, seeing as we live in something slightly larger than a shoebox, this will have to be a little REAL kahuna. I don't know why I keep referring to a Christmas tree as a "kahuna." But moving on.

Lastly, on this Tuesday of yours, do you happen to see that blue globe up there in the video? Well guess what? That is a 540-piece puzzle. Yes, a puzzle. As in something elderly people do on the regular. When Verner and I were in Amsterdam this past April, we happened to see something like this in a toy shop window, and since we were deep into our 6-month travels with nothing but the world on our mind, we thought, "WE MUST HAVE THIS!!!!!!" Except, well, as you know, we only had a little suitcase each and clearly this giant box would not be able to come with.

Fast forward to this past week, and The Dizzle's mama presents us with this gem! I don't know where she found it, but I thought it was simply the sweetest that she remembered after all these months. :)

We're going to be puzzling PROFESSIONALS when we're 80, just you wait!

And now, I'm off to my very first Cardio Barre class! I have no idea what it entails, but this is the picture from their website:

So, I mean, clearly I'll be amazing at it because I already have the unitard.

Happy Tuesday! I'll let you know how it goes...

xoxo
