Happy Friday, yo. Who's excited for the weekend? (I am! I am!)
The Dizzle and I are hopping in the car today and going on a little ROAD TRIP down to San Diego! It's my niece's 1-year birthday party and well, since I clearly have nothing else to do, I thought, what a perfect time for a road trip with my Boo and spend this time with family.
So I SUPPOSE it's a tad understandable that yesterday was filled with a smidge of alarm as I was sitting at my kitchen table and saw that the old lady neighbor had RAN HER CAR INTO OUR PARKED CAR ON THE STREET AS SHE WAS BACKING OUT OF HER GARAGE.
This poor thing has been through the ringer and barely has 1300 miles to her name.
But, as we have all come to agree upon as of late, to every bad story there is a silver lining.
Today's silver lining is this:
We now get a free rental car as Little Dooter (yes, we sometimes refer to our car as Dooter. deal with it.) gets patched up over the weekend. And we now get to take that free rental to San Diego and put the 1000+ miles on Enterprise's dime instead of our little Hamster Lease. I can't say I'm upset about that. No harm, no foul.
Well, a little harm, but no foul.
Anyway - I'm sure we'll have a grand time cruising down the coast in a Toyota Corolla, or something else comparable, listening to tunes with the wind in
....And then this happened during last night's photo taking (because there was no other way for me to smoothly transition into this picture).
Try not to be too alarmed as we are not habitual cross dressers, nor have we ever been. But when I jokingly say, "Hey, now let's take one with you in my top and me in yours," and The Dizzle agrees, well, you just can't pass up that opportunity. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if I got permission to post this of him here, but like I told him yesterday as I was trying to take a photo of him at Whole Foods, "This is my life and you're in my life, so you have to be okay with me documenting my life!"
Happy weekend friends, may it be a great one!
