Sayonara, Pottery Barn

Today is my very last day with Pottery Barn Kids as an Assistant Buyer. I have 4 more hours left at this place, and as I do not wish to say anything bad about the company, though I'm sure you can get the gist of how I feel based on this post and this post, I will insert my go-to gif on just how happy I am for this day to have finally arrived.

I'm sure it was no secret that I wasn't particularly ecstatic about this job. But, I will say this, I am thankful that I took the plunge and tried out a career that had always been in the back of my mind since college. Okay, perhaps 3 months wasn't exactly "taking the plunge" and giving it a fair shot, but I think it's safe to say, for once and for all, that OFFICE JOBS ARE NOT FOR ME.

It only took me, oh, 8 years to figure that out, but I am 100% confident in that conclusion now! Hallelujah and amen.

So anyway, I have one glorious, work-free week ahead of me and then it's game time! Whoo hoo!

Let the countdown begin...

xoxo

  3. I am so excited for you and so jealous all at the same time. I've been in desk jobs for as long as I can remember. I'm in the process of figuring out my plan of escape, but I might just pull a "Mish" and sell everything to travel the world. Love your blog, girl. Can't wait to see pics of you in your Flight Attendant outfit :)
