Later Bitches.

(Just kidding, you're not bitches.)

^^^Every now and then, my Instagram skillz amaze me ;) San Diego. 2012.^^^

The day has finally arrived!

After 9 long months (which, btw is the longest time I have ever been away from home), I am headed back to San Diego! A short trip it will be (I come back Sunday), but a trip nonetheless.

I'll be spending most of my time with family, probably karaoke-ing with Fasha and Princess Sophia or something ultra Korean like that. But, whatever we do, I think fun times will be had. Fun times, indeed.

I checked the weather, should be a nice 72 degrees. Which, let me tell you, will feel glorious compared to the cold, windy, drizzly, poopy weather I've been experiencing here in San Francisco.

My flight is scheduled for 5:35pm tonight. Though, if you have ever flown into or out of San Francisco, then you know that they are notorious for flight changes. I have already received 2 updates for my flight that it has been delayed to 6:55pm, then another for 6:45pm....a whopping 10 minute difference.
Fingers crossed I get to leave sooner!

I should also note, as pathetic as this is, that this is the FIRST NIGHT APART from The Dizzle in over 9 months. Is that weird? I don't know how I feel about that, but I think I'm going to miss him terribly come bed time.

Welp! I hope you all have wonderful weekends! Catch me on Insty (that's what I call Instagram in case you didn't catch that) for a fun-filled San Diego weekend, with a lot of Korean shenanigans thrown in, I'm sure. ;)

Oh, and also, I'd like to take a moment, before I go, to introduce you to Miriam! She blogs over at Farm Girl and she's German. A German farm girl. I mean....that's pretty amazing if you ask me (and you'll see just how amazing when you hear her story). And also, well, I just think she's a cutie-patooty. Yeah, I said cutie-patooty.

Here's a little hello from Miriam:

Hi Mish lovers,

My name is Miriam aka Farm Girl. Mish kindly offered to let me hang out here for a bit today and since I absolutely adore her I couldn't believe my luck and said yes!

I'm German, but for the past 10 years have lived on the west coast in BC, Canada. How did I get here? Weelll... this is a story I love to tell, but I'll keep it short for you: Girl meets boy, falls in love, packs up her things in Germany and moves to Canada. That's it in a nutshell.

There were a few hurdles on the way: Like the fact that my future husband was a father. Of 4 girls. Some of them not a whole lot younger than me. Eeks! Or that I didn't speak a word of English, didn't have any money when I came over, and my parents decidedly disapproved. But it worked out! It was incredibly hard at times, the wildest roller coaster ride of both our lives, but SO worth it. We got married over 8 years ago and are very, very happy.

We live on a hobby farm that's packed with animals: horses, llamas, sheep that look like deer (so cute!), a pack of dogs, and birds. If you have a bird phobia (I googled it - ornithophobia - learn something new every day, right?) you will not like our place. Here a bird, there a bird, everywhere a bird, bird... peacocks, pheasants, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, canaries, finches - you name it, we have it.

But I love it. My favourite thing in the world is to sit by our pond under the willow tree with my hubs, sipping wine, surrounded by the dogs. Perfection!

If you wanna see some more come on over! I would love to have you.

xoxo Miriam
