Oh Paris...

View from the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower
Oh, Paris, what a lovely time we had with you.
Freezing? Yes. Romantic? Even more so.
I never thought this would be a place that we'd get to see together, but by golly, we did it!

Yesterday we walked 6 miles around the city, plus over 600 steps to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. We would have gone to the top, but a certain someone (cough)verner(cough) seems to be a tad afraid of heights. Even after a year and a half of knowing someone, you still learn something new every day, huh? That's okay though, the 2nd floor still had an amazing view of the city and I was more than okay with going back down to get some hot chocolate and a Nutella crepe. Mmm...

We're off to have a fancy-ish French dinner tonight as a little "goodbye" to the city, then it's back to Spain tomorrow. We've barely spent any money all day so we could "splurge" tonight. Yay.

Also, in case you wanted to see more Barcelona pictures, I put them up here.

Have a wonderful weekend! Au revoir! ;)

xoxo

  6. Nomnomnom... Authentic crepes in Paris and hot chocolate (I think I'm more jealous about your food experience than your trip to Eiffel lol). Hope you have fun with your fancy dinner!

  10. My best friend and I could only go to the second level too. There was no way on earth I was making it to the top. Also, we had lunch at the cafe on the second level. I got a "hot dog" and I think it was $20. It was basically a white penis looking sausage on a french bread loaf with so much ketchup the bread was soggy. Worst meal ever. Don't order a hot dog while you're there.
