So this morning, The Dizzle and I got up {well, I moaned and tossed around for 5 minutes, then got up}, threw our running shoes on....and then took a 30 minute walk.
I still have zero interest in running.
And it's still hard to believe that I ever ran that marathon.
Anyway, on our brisk morning walk, we spotted a rainbow!
And I can't remember if seeing a rainbow is good luck or if it has to be a double rainbow or something weird like that.
But I'm going to go ahead and just say it's good luck.
Because I am here to tell you that this weekend, we are headed up to Idyllwild for a few days of camping.
Yes, camping.
As in tent, air bed, sleeping bags, and s'mores.
I shall need all the luck I can get.
I'm sure it's not a ginormous surprise that me and camping aren't the best of friends.
But this is just another attempt for us to live it up while we're still here in California.
Wish me luck.
Oh wait, I don't need it because I saw that rainbow, remember?
Anyway, before I wish you a great weekend, meet 3 new friends of mine!
Enjoy and show them some blog love, will ya?

Rainbows are good luck for sure :) and so pretty!
ReplyDeleteMake your own luck gurl! In the Cambodian culture, it's good luck if a bird poops on you sooo I'll take a rainbow anyday haha
ReplyDeleteYes most definitely good luck! :)

can you stop being cute with your morning walks!? and best of luck camping! It's kind of my favorite thing to do. :)
ReplyDeletegood luck camping!! Me and camping are not friends either. Remember how I told you I would bring like 20 pairs of underwear to Europe? I would also bring a couple of suitcases to go camping. But my idea of camping would be camping out in a hotel with a shower and tv and internet. :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures of San Diego make me so homesick!
ReplyDeleteHa ha. That's awesome that you ran a marathon! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm training for my third, and I still agree with your whole
sentiment of having no desire to run :)
Happy Friday!
Those pictures are pretty amazing- and yes, a rainbow is totally good luck :) Thanks for sending your lovely followers my way- they're really sweet!

CAMPING!? My word, my idea of camping is a 1 star HoJo or Red Roof Inn. I'll be thinking of you when I hop into my select comfort.

gawd i hate camping. but i still have camping-in-a-cabin on my list. you know like that video clip of mariah carey "always be my baby" where 2 kids sneak out and go dippin in the lake? i'll be skinny dipping in the lake. holla.
ReplyDeletehmm I do not know! I have never heard of them being good luck. But if they are I need to see them alot :) how great that would be right? Too bad we only see them after rain :( The photos are great. I love them! What type camera did you use? because it takes amazing photos which are very clear :) I also hope camping has been good to you this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge camper per se, but since I now have a little boy I feel like it's a requirement that I go...for his sake :) Or perhaps the hubby can take care of that.
ReplyDeleteHope you had fun!
