You were right...

Sore crotch?
Walking like a weirdo?
Lady bits hurting?

Yup.

...

Last night, I decided to switch it up and do a cycling class instead of my usual Kickboxing or Zumba.
It's good to have variety, ya know?
But hot dang those classes are intense.

And smelly. Very smelly.

After an hour of bouncing up and down on a hard, plastic seat,
I feel like I should be sitting on one of those inflatable donuts.

...

I think I'll be going back to Kickboxing tonight.

xoxo

  4. Poor girl!! I feel this way after riding my regular bike with a cushy seat across town. I can't imagine the pain of a spinning class!

I think I'd stick with kickboxing too, after that!

  7. Oh man, we rented bikes during a recent weekend away, rode for a full day, and I could not walk or sit correctly for the rest of the weekend. Swollen, sore, ouchy.

Good luck! Hopefully yours heals a little quicker.

  8. Giiiiiiiiirl I hear you right now! A few years ago I had the awesome idea that me and LoLo would get bikes and ride all around the Bronx on them then I went for a spin around the neighborhood...and haven't touched my bike since. Just the other day I was wondering if it's worse for heavy girls like me since there's so much pressure/weight. lol

Speaking about sore crotchal regions is too risk-ay por moi.

I've heard this improves with time. But it's quite painful the couple times I've done spin.

  14. I'll only continue to follow you if there are infrequent mentions of vagina on the blog.

That's right, I'm taking a stand. Actually I might sit on my non-sore bottom ha.

  16. I love(d) spinning... past tense because it's been years since I've done it. It was such a great workout, but my vagina would hurt like hell. I bought me a seat cushion which helped with the soreness, but I still walked like I had something in my ass.

  17. If you're going to really take up spinning, you gotta get the bike shorts. Yes, they look like a glorified diaper, or like you bought the world's largest sanitary napkin. But they help. And spinning can burn something like 800 calories an hour. Insane.

  18. I have a love/hate relationship with cycling. Basically, I love that is whips me into shape but I hate that is makes my lady bits hurt.
