It's the little things...

Last night, The Dizzle and I decided to take a little 3 mile stroll to try and burn off the killer meatloaf I just made. {Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Mishi cooked. Cooked! And it was pretty amazing, if I do say so myself.}

Anyway, I thought I'd grab my camera on the way out and, let me just say, I'm so glad I did.

I don't usually toot my own horn {ok, fine, I do. read: meatloaf rant},
but I am very excited about some of the shots I got around town.
The lighting was pretty much perfect.

But more importantly, it was amazing to me that I've grown up my whole life in San Diego, and I haven't really taken the time to appreciate the small things around me.

I mean, just look at these pictures.
The boats, the water, the bridge...there everyday and how often do I really take the time to admire it?
Not often enough, I tell you.

So here's to stopping and smelling those goddamned roses.
And here's to finding the beauty in life around you.

*clink* <---That's my glass toasting you. Obvi.

  12. Great photos. They are so pretty! But, eew to the meatloaf. Mixed meat with fillers in a pan does not call for a meal (even if it tasted good), maybe I just hate meatloaf - ha.
