{Dress: Old Navy}
Clearly welcoming alcohol back into our lives over the weekend was something we didn't think twice about. Twelve days sober and that sweet sweet liquid went down smooth. A little too smooth.
And then I was asleep by 11:30pm.
And then the morning came and I was reminded what a hangover felt like.
But what're you gonna do?
I was turning 26 and celebrations were to be had.
I couldn't be the only sober one at my party, could I? {Besides the cute pregnant lady, of course.}
I had a blast though and many thanks to all of you who came out to celebrate.
And even more thanks to all of you who were so kind to send some b-day love via the social network.
You guys rock.
The Dizzle and I are back on the Sober Saddle.
Time to lose the weekend beer bloat.

i wondered if you had it in you to stay sober on your birthday. i mean it's actually MANDATORY to drink on your birthday. i mean seriously, you can't be the only sober one, you have to be the drunkest one! the day of your birth is wonderful and a proper celebration must be had. no biggie, you can saddle right back up on your sobriety now that celebrations are over!! No Prob, Bob. =)

Happy belated birthday!
ReplyDeleteI said to my friend over the weekend, "We should do 30 days without alcohol" and I immediately started to get anxious.
I am taking this weekend off by default, due to surgery. But that means I'll have something even better, like hydos ;)
Actually, I hate hydros. I might just drown the pain in beer, after all.
hahaha went down a lil too smooth. Sounds like perfection!!
ReplyDeleteglad to hear you had a rockin birthday!!

Hey, it's ok to cheat once and a while. Especially if it's an occasion as special as your birthday. Just jump right back on the sobriety wagon but just remember life is short so feel free to slip up every once and a while. Happy belated birthday!
