Friday Ramblings

Yesterday, V Dizz sent me a message:

"Take the next hour or so and think about what your little heart desires for dinner tonight.
I feel like cooking."

I immediately thought of those "Hey Girl" Ryan Gosling quotes.
You know, the ones where he says ridiculously amazing things that every girl wants to hear.

{via}
Then I had to pull myself away from my Ryan Gosling day dream
because the real thing was waiting my response! ;)

So I thought and I thought,
and the only thing that came to mind was
3-Cheese Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup.
So that's what he made.
Havarti. Cheddar. Gruyere.
It was bombtastic.

I had an idea that I could bust out my Big Girl camera
and take some oh-so-artsy pictures of this 3-cheese concoction.
Then after a few snaps, I quickly realized that none of you would give an eff to see
grilled cheese sandwiches on this blog, no matter what kind of lighting it was in.
So I nixed that.
You're welcome.

Anyway.
It's Friday already!
What are your fun plans for the weekend?
Want to switch them with me and YOU can run 20 miles instead?
Yeah, that's right.
We're running 20 miles on Sunday.
{Big breath}

See you on the flip side!
xoxo

  1. I actually disagree. Being that grilled cheese is my favorite sandwich, I very much would have liked to see a picture of it! Hope you have a fabulous weekend and you will crush that 20 mile run. For sure.

  3. Wait, I wanted to drool over grilled cheese. Gimme one. GIMME ONE. Oh, things. 1) I f*cking love cheese. And I'm lactose intolerant. Don't care, still eat cheese. 2) My plans are similar to yours, so you really don't want to switch with me. 3) Except I'm only running 10 miles. 4) It feels weird to say "only running 10 miles." Like 10 miles is nothing. Pshaw.

  5. I want to see big girl camera pix of grilled cheese. 3 cheeses?! show off! No, I will keep my no-need-to-run life ;) You can take my 20-mo for the weekend though. Believe me, after that, you'll pray to be able to get outside and run ;O

  9. Hahaha, I laughed.

    That picture is so dreamy and perfect! (The cheese one, that is.)

    Best of luck on your ridiculous amount of running -- I worked today for a couple of hours and am doing essay work tonight. Tomorrow is an open-close shift at work.

    I can hear your joy over my amazing life from here..

    Xx
