I Heart Vegas

This past weekend, in Las Vegas, was just splendid.
Though just a short trip, it was a trip much needed.

I arrived to our time share on Friday around 2pm and had some time to kill before everyone else got there.
So I hit the pool.

I then quickly realized, after my 2 cran/vodkas,
that being alone in Vegas isn't as cool as I thought it would be.
So I got bored and started taking pictures of myself.
Yeah...I was that girl.

Finally, Mutha got in around 8pm and we ate dinner at Serendipity 3 by Caesar's Palace.
Yum x2.
It was really good to see her.
Ever since she moved to Georgia, I definitely cherish every moment I get to spend with her.
Even if the majority of the time was spent with me sleeping on the couch till 2pm,
it sure meant a lot to me and I'm sure the feeling was mutual.

She even made me this lovely crocheted afghan.
It took her two months!
I love it.

Saturday night, Brother, Katie, and I hit the strip.
After losing almost $300, I put my last $20 bill in a Price is Right slot machine.
My Asian luck came through and I won 22,907 pennies.

I attribute it to my Fat Tuesday liquid courage.

I've never actually stopped at this sign in Vegas.
But Saturday night, after the strip club (yeah, I did that),
and on our 4.5 mile trek back to our time share (why we didn't take a cab beats me),
we came across this sign and I had to take a picture.
Lovely, ain't it?

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Here's to another week.
