I know. It's baffling, really.
Cooking to me consists of opening a microwave and blasting that food to an inch of its life.
Over the years, I've come to master those skills quite well, really.
So, when Mish gets a text like this one:
...You can understand my hesitancy.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls:
We cooked. We conquered. And holy moly, it was amazing.
Please, let me share.
Ahem.
Greek Chicken Pasta
You just need a few items from the store:
Ingredients
a lovely view of Downtown San Diego (optional),
Crappy picture, but you get the point. |
and a guy who gives you weird looks as you take pictures of everything he's doing (also optional).
Me: It's for my blog!
Him: Can I read it?
Me: No.
(We're not there yet.)
So, you chop some onions and crush some garlic...
Saute them in some olive oil (while you're boiling the pasta)...
Do some more veggie chopping...
Or rather, have said guy do the chopping.
Throw some chicken in with veggies and pasta...
Squeeze some lemon juice,
add some feta cheese...
And, Voila!!
This probably took a total of 30 minutes to do.
If I can do it (or watch someone do it),
then you can too.
You can click here for the full recipe.
But really, wow. It was so good.
And all for under $40!
You're welcome.
Happy Labor Day Weekend, everyone!!!
xoxo
(we're not there yet) - awesome! hahaha
ReplyDeletealso, make me food, woman!
That dish looks amazingly delicious. I think I'll try it sometime when the cooking bug hits me ( I wonder when that will be?)
