Ramble Bamble

I made sure to put in extra effort to get to work by 7am today.
I succeeded.
Starbucks and all.
I'd smile, but I'm just too tired.
However, at Starbucks this morning, I saw this woman wearing a pink shirt (we all know how much I hate to wear pink), pink pin-striped pants, and pink shoes. I couldn't resist. So I busted out my stealth Ninja skills and took a picture.
Then I realized the woman behind me probably saw me take this picture and unleashed the judgments.
Awkward? Nah....

Last night, I went to J-Bar...met up with Jim and Billy. Needed a little mid-week pick me up.
It was splendid.
Except I got there first, and this one man started talking to me.
His name is Terry.
Terry was highly intoxicated.
Terry then proceeded to ask me to "hook him up with a deal" on Costco furniture.
I told him I couldn't do that.
Then he said I was 3000 times prettier than the girls down at a different bar.
Um..thank you?
Then Jim got there to save the day and I told Terry that Jim was my MAN.
Terry eventually got the hint and went away.
Thank you, Jim. You're my gangster.

Billy, you're pretty cool too

Moving on to other important news.
My ticket is booked to go see my Mutha in GEORGIA!!!!
July 24-31
Whoo hoo!
Compliments of my Fasha.
This is the email that he sent us both:

"You are welcome.

I am so happy to see that you are so happy to go see your Mom.
She will be so happy about that, too. I am sure.
I know how much you miss her and I feel responsible for all the situations that we are in.
So this is the least I can do for you and your Mom to make things a bit better.
I love you.
Dad"

I thought it was interesting what he said on that fourth line.
In a way, do I sometimes agree that yes, it is because of him that now my parents aren't together,
and now my mom lives a million miles away from me?
Yes.
Do I want him to feel guilty about it? (which is how it kind of sounds in that email)
99% of the time...
No.
Regardless, I am incredibly thankful for what he does for this family.
Thank you, Daddy. I love you.

Guess what, my lovelies??
It's Thursday.
You know what that means?
Yep, tomorrow is Friday.
You know what that means?
R. Kelly would say it best:

It's the freakin' weekend, baby I'm about to have me some fun!!

xoxo
